My niece was in the 99th percentile range for the first year of her life, but she was pretty skinny. She had just developmentally been considered ahead. Ex. When she was 3months she might have been the size of an average 5month old baby or smth. Again, not having at all to do with fat, she simply weighed more than av. for being a more physically grown child.
