The little friends that I did have got bored of me quickly and I spent the majority of my childhood indoors watching TV until I discovered the Internet at age 8. Ironically, by the time I was old enough to be allowed to go out and my parents did push me to have a social life, I didn’t want to since I had the Internet. I got used to my own company and came to prefer it.
